Wilkommen! Bienvenido! Welcome!Tlee.png

My name is Tori Lee, and I love adventure. When I am not teaching, I travel the world. I have been to over 40 different countries and to all 50 of the United States. When I am at work, the world comes to me in my SDAIE classes. I have students from the Middle East, Asia, Europe, South America, Africa, Central America, and North America. I really enjoy getting to know them, as well as learning about their culture.

Tori- you do a fantastic job with all your SADAIE students. My students who were with you last year miss having you as their teacher. I am so glad we are in this program together!!!!-Sue

You are too cute! Your rosy cheeks make you look like you've been having a great time today...or you were at happy hour before class! Be sure to invite me next time!

Hi Tori, You're very welcome! Thanks for being an active and engaged participant in this training. I just try to have fun. I'm always thankful when others want to join me in this goal. By the way, I love the avatar and the "About You" blurb. I wish that I traveled more. Someday... when the girls are older. -Ted

Reflection: Day 1 Technology
I enjoyed looking at the Edutopia website. It had some very helpful articles specifically about how to integrate technology into the classroom. I am excited to start using a laptop and Smartboard in the classroom. I would also like to get a digital camera and digital video camera for the classroom so that my students can create power point projects and the like, using these technology tools. I want my lessons to incorporate activities like this that will not only engage students, but prepare them for projects they may be asked to do once they are out in the working world. The web address for this site is www.edutopia.org

Reflection: Day 2 Technology
I had not ever made a spreadsheet before, nor had I used the Excel program, so I found today's lesson very informative. I did not know that making a graph could be so easy. This lesson definitely lowered my anxiety about making a graph for the final power point presentation. In addition, the Survey Monkey website looks to be a terrific website for creating a survey, compiling data from the survey, and examining the outcome of the survey. I know that it will be a useful tool for me in the future. I look forward to creating a real survey for my students to take, and then looking at/utilizing the data gathered. I've never created a survery before, so I am sure that I will find the experience extremely interesting.
